What you will get

Selected startups will receive pre-seed funding of £10k in exchange of 10% equity and will be guided on how to spend this money in order to achieve their business goals.

You will be working with experienced angel investor, Andy Yates, who will support you on a weekly basis.

At the end of the 3 month program, your business is expected to have an MVP, defined revenue streams, proof of concept and a great chance of seed investment from Startup Funding Club

Selection Process

Online Application

The first step is always our online application form where you provide us with some basic contact and business details and your pitch deck. We normally need between 1 to 3 weeks to assess your application and decide how to proceed. You will always hear back from us: we can either reject your application or invite you to a meeting.

Direct Meeting is the second step of the screening process. At this stage we try to get to know you better, your motivation, business knowledge and your background. This is also an occasion for us to ask questions about your company and industry you're in. Within a few days after the meeting you will know if we want to proceed or not and you will receive a detailed feedback.

Start of the program

Once we are sure that SFC Academy is right for you, we will agree the way we will work to ensure the maximum results within the 3 month period. At the end of the program, your business should be ready for seed funding.
